Qualifications

• B.S. degree required; strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Must possess manual and finger dexterity; ability to analyze student weaknesses and advise improvements.
• Ability to work with evening and weekend hours; self-motivated; capable of delegation as needed.
• Certificates and ratings: Commercial Pilot Airplane SEL, Instrument Airplane, Certified Flight Instructor – Airplane.

Responsibilities

• Teach flight lessons exactly as FAA syllabi indicate (Private, Instrument, Commercial, CFI-A, CFI-I, Multi-engine, CFI-ME).
• Teach aviation ground school and update syllabi.
• Act as Instructor on Duty and participate in meetings.
• Perform duties as assigned by Chief of Pilot Training.
