United Surgical Partners International (USPI) proudly affiliates with Physicians’ Surgery Center of Tidewater in Virginia Beach, seeking a Part-Time Certified Surgical Technologist to join a busy, multi-specialty ambulatory center.

The CST will scrub procedures, maintain sterile fields, and collaborate with surgeons and staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care while adhering to infection control standards. Schedule is Monday–Thursday, with day shifts and no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Must hold current CST credential.
• Preferred previous experience in a surgical setting.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and instruments.
• Scrub and assist during surgical procedures.
• Anticipate surgeon and team needs during operations.
• Ensure proper handling and care of instruments and equipment.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards.
• Support goals around quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
• Build relationships with patients, physicians, staff, and vendors.
