Physicians’ Surgery Center of Tidewater, affiliated with United Surgical Partners International, Inc. in Virginia Beach, seeks a Part-Time Certified Surgical Technologist to support a busy ambulatory center. You will scrub sterile fields, assist in procedures, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient care, and collaboration with physicians and staff. Schedule is Monday–Thursday, day shifts, with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential is required.
• Previous experience in a surgical setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields and instruments.
• Scrub and assist during surgical procedures.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and surgical team.
• Ensure proper handling and care of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards.
• Support facility goals related to quality, patient safety, and patient satisfaction.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians, staff, and vendors.
