Applicants will undergo written and oral examinations and a comprehensive background investigation, including polygraph, psychology, medical evaluation, and personnel record review. The Town offers sick, vacation, and personal days with rotating patrol shifts.

Qualifications

• CT POST Certification in good standing.
• Must be a resident of Connecticut.
• Must possess valid CT driver's license.
• POST certification in good standing with your former department/agency.

Responsabilités

• Sit for and pass written examination.
• Pass oral board examination.
• Undergo an extensive background investigation including polygraph, psychological, medical evaluation, and personnel record review.
• Patrol shifts include days, evenings, weekends and holidays; private duty details may apply.
