The New Hartford Police Department is seeking a Full-Time Evening Shift Police Officer for the Town of New Hartford, CT. Applicants must be CT POSTC Certified, have completed the probationary period, and currently be a CT-certified full-time officer. A thorough background investigation and certification requirements will apply.

The position includes a 5/3 schedule with weekends and holidays rotating. Salary is market-competitive with a comprehensive benefits package.

The Town of New Hartford in conjunction with the Resident Trooper Office is currently accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Evening Shift Police Officer; Weekends and Holidays appear in the rotation on A 5/3 schedule. Applicants must be State of CT POSTC Certified. Officers must have completed a successful one-year probationary period and currently be certified as a full-time police officer in Connecticut. Applicants must also pass an extensive background investigation and all other POSTC lateral and/or comparative transfer certification requirements.
