Job summary

Overlake Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a part-time, 0.8 FTE role with full benefits. The technician will perform nondiscretionary functions per PQAC guidance, in a hospital pharmacy setting, with both sterile and non-sterile compounding responsibilities.

Requires WA licensure and PQAC-approved training; CPhT certification is preferred. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and ideally prior hospital pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician training program approved by PQAC.
• WA State licensure required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPhT certification required.
• Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting preferred.
• USP 797 and clean room training for sterile compounding required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nondiscretionary functions in pharmacy as defined by PQAC.
• Duties and responsibilities are performed in a hospital pharmacy and office environment.
