Job summary

You will work under supervision, assist with stocking, invoicing, and training as directed by management, and help ensure quality patient care in our local Brookshire Brothers pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered/certified pharmacy technician with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy.
• Assist the pharmacist with filling prescribed drugs, entering prescription data and operating the register.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, courteous service at all times.
• Assist the pharmacist with filling prescribed drugs, entering prescription data, and processing pharmacy sales.
• Re-order medicine and supplies, stock shelves, and handle related duties as assigned.
• Validate NDC numbers, file and sequence documents, and manage invoices and returns.
• Ensure confidentiality of pharmacy and customer records and comply with OBRA 1990.
• Support store operations as needed.
