Job summary

Silverado is seeking a Part Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for PM shift at Silverado St. Charles. The role combines clinical care with compassionate interaction to support residents living with memory impairments.

You will provide daily living assistance, build relationships with residents and families, and maintain accurate care records. Requirements include CNA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance to residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other memory impairments
• Support residents in activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, dining, etc.)
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and Silverado team
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide compassionate care and assistance to residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other memory impairments
• Support residents in activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, dining, etc.)
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and your Silverado team
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
• CNA Training Completion with a valid CNA certificate number required
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working around animals and pets

Schedule: Part Time, PM shift, Monday, Friday and Saturday

Anticipated pay range

$19 - $21 USD
