Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant at the Westmont MOB Pulmonary Medicine location. The role offers 20 hours per week with hours Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm, days TBD. Travel for coverage may be required.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, taking vitals, assisting physicians in exams and minor procedures, immunizations, prescription support, and onsite lab testing. Strong MA certification and EMR experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active medical assistant certification through AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA or AAMA.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Phlebotomy certification within 90 days of hire.
• 2 years of MA/CMA/CNA/EMT or equivalent medical office experience.
• Experience using an electronic medical record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration and scheduling.
• Measure vital signs and collect health history.
• Support physicians during examinations and minor procedures.
• Assist with immunizations or injections as needed.
• Process prescriptions, pharmacy callbacks, and orders; update charting.
• Perform onsite labs including EKG, pulmonary function, glucose tests, urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintain clean, welcoming examination rooms and provide excellent service.

Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
