Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a part-time role in the Westmont area. You will greet patients, assist with registration, take vital signs, and support physicians during exams and minor procedures in a patient‑centered, team‑driven environment.

The position requires MA certification, CPR, and willingness to travel for coverage. A strong emphasis on compassionate care and accurate charting is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred.
• CPR certification required or willing to obtain on hire.
• Phlebotomy certification may be required within 90 days.
• Experience as MA/CMA/CNA/EMT or in a medical office is desirable.
• Familiarity with EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration and scheduling.
• Measure vital signs and collect health history.
• Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures.
• Support with immunizations or injections as applicable.
• Handle prescription requests and pharmacy callbacks.
• Perform onsite lab tests such as EKGs and glucose checks.
• Maintain clean, welcoming examination rooms and high service standards.
• Travel to assist other local clinics as needed.

Overview: Certified Medical Assistant Position Highlights: Westmont MOB Pulmonary Medicine Part-Time; 20 hours/week Hours: Monday-Friday; 8:00am-4:30pm - days TBD Travel: Expected to travel for coverage as needed

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history
• Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid procedures
• Certified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injections
• Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing
• Conduct onsite lab testing to include: EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests
• Maintains clean, warm and inviting examination rooms for patient visits
• Provide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values
• Some travel to assist other local clinics may be required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Several of our clinical specialties including Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Family Practice, require active medical assistant certification through one of the following: American Medical Technologists (AMT) National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) National Healthcareer Association (NHA) American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
• CPR certification or willing to become certified upon hire required
• May require phlebotomy certification to be completed within 90 days of hire
• Prior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT or 2 years of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient care
• Prior experience using an electronic medical record preferred
• College graduates from a health sciences program interested in gaining patient care experience and in pursuing a career in healthcare are welcome to apply

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $21.43-23.63 for a Medical Assistant; Certified or Registered Medical Assistant the base pay range is $22.97-24.57, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
