Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified employee serving in a teaching or administrative position.
• GHSA coaching coursework and NCSS PREPARE/First Aid required.
• GHSA Head Coaching Class must be completed.
• Experience in coaching or playing the sport preferred.
• Inventory and scheduling experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for off-site competition.

Responsibilities

• Instructs and coaches K-12 students on fundamentals of sports.
• Works with coaching staff to set rules, policies, and regulations for the team.
• Oversees registration of athletes and issuance of equipment.
• Coordinates and monitors try-outs.
• Schedules and supervises practices.
• Supervises athletes and teams with safety in mind.
• Collaborates with staff to promote healthy lifestyles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
