Job summary

ESC Region 11 in White Settlement, TX seeks a Temporary/Irregular Part-Time-Certification Specialist to oversee certification programs, recruit/train participants, and provide PD and technical support to campuses and districts. The role requires a Master’s Degree, Texas teaching and administrator certificates, and at least 3 years of teaching and principal experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree and Texas teaching certificate are required.
• Texas Administrator Certificate is required.
• Minimum 3 years of successful teaching experience.
• Minimum 3 years of principal experience.
• Experience in program development and teacher training.
• Strong collaboration and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality training reflecting research and state initiatives.
• Deliver training sessions with the Certification Department.
• Implement new initiatives in the Certification Department.
• Analyze needs assessment data from regional and state sources.
• Verify candidates meet state certification requirements.
• Provide coaching to candidates and meaningful updates to stakeholders.
• Participate in regional plan development for training and services.
• Model use of technology in productivity and instruction.
