Job summary

Mathnasium is seeking a Center Director in Ventura, CA to lead the team and drive student learning using the Mathnasium Method. You will oversee assessments, personalize learning plans, engage families, and support enrollment growth.

In this part-time role after school and on weekends, you will mentor instructional staff, deliver in-center and hybrid instruction, and maintain a safe, professional learning environment while ensuring excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance education and sales responsibilities.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
• Proficiency in computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Center Director in administering student assessments and developing student learning plans.
• Assist with sales responsibilities, including promptly responding to leads and enrolling students.
• Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating progress.
• Lead and coach team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Manage students’ learning progress and engagement throughout sessions.
• Mentor and support employee development with on‑the‑job training.
• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
