Job summary

Mathnasium Clarkston is seeking an Assistant Center Director to lead a student-centered learning program after school and on weekends. You will support the Center Director, help enroll new students, and ensure engaging math practice in a supportive classroom setting.

The role requires passion for math, strong people skills, and the ability to coach a small team. We offer training, advancement opportunities, and a friendly work culture at a locally owned Mathnasium center.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance diverse responsibilities.
• Computer skills and proficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal and organization skills.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra 1.

Responsibilities

• Support the Center Director in identifying student needs and developing customized student learning plans.
• Assist with sales responsibilities, including promptly responding to leads and successfully enrolling students.
• Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress.
• Lead and coach team members to effectively deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Manage students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions.
