Job summary

The UPS Store 7171 in Sioux Falls is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to guide customers through every interaction, handle opening and closing duties, and deliver the highest level of customer service. You will educate customers on UPS Store services and assist with everyday store operations.

Design, computer and graphics experience would be helpful as you assist with copy, printing and document management tasks while building rapport with diverse customers.

Job Summary: The Sales Associate will be primarily responsible for guiding customers’ experience with the UPS Store through every interaction. In addition to opening/closing duties, Sales Associate will be responsible for educating customers on UPS Store services and delivering those services with the highest level of customer service. We have a part-time position available. Design, computer and graphics experience would be helpful.

Qualifications

• Basic procedures for shipping mail and packages
• Copying, printing, and document management processes
• Fundamental accounting, banking, cash management practices

Skills in:

• MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and Publisher
• Email applications: communication & management
• Graphic illustration & editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite

Ability to:

• Communicate and spark rapport with customers of diverse backgrounds
• Learn and retain information quickly
• Cross sell and upsell additional services
• Address issues and resolve conflicts through professional verbal/written communication

Requirements

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
• Must be able to lift 50+lbs
• Must be able to remain standing for extended periods of time
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation
