Penn State Altoona’s Office of Continuing Education is seeking instructors to teach non-credit classes as part of the Penn State Altoona – Penn State DuBois Workforce Development Collaborative. Courses will be offered day, evening, and weekends in formats requested by employers, including in-person at campuses, at corporate sites, or remotely.

Instructors should have at least a bachelor’s degree, and industry expertise or relevant work experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in the subject area.
• Industry expertise and/or work experience relevant to the course.
• Teaching experience with adult learners is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop, organize, and present course materials.
• Prepare grade/assessment reports.
• Monitor student attendance.
• Deliver instruction in flexible formats (in-person, virtual, or hybrid).
