Job summary

Project Hope Foundation, Inc. in Woodruff, SC, is hiring a PT Bus Driver to join the Transportation team. This Full-Time role offers a PT schedule with Wednesday and Friday routes, CDL required, and paid training.

You’ll ensure safe student transportation and support field trips with a focus on reliability and safety. Minimum entry-level experience, a high school diploma, and ability to pass drug, background, and DOT checks are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Pass a drug screen.
• Pass a SLED background check.
• Pass a DOT Physical.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students daily between school locations (Landrum/Woodruff) and a single pick-up/drop-off location in Greenville/Spartanburg.
• Drive a 22/20- or 15/14-passenger bus with students and support staff.
• Assist with transportation for planned field trips.
• Follow safety procedures and applicable laws.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working order.
• Track and report required information on passengers, routes, and time.
• Communicate delays or route changes as they arise.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Report signs of maintenance needs and potential repairs.


• Communicate delays, route changes, or other important updates as they arise.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent


• A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)


• Experience driving a school bus (desired)
