Job summary

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students daily between school locations (Landrum/Woodruff area) and a single pickup/drop-off location in Greenville or Spartanburg.
• Drive a 22/20- or 15/14-passenger bus with students and staff.
• Assist with transportation for field trips and uphold safety procedures.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Communicate delays or route changes to provide timely updates.

What We Offer

• PT hours: Wednesday AM and PM routes; Friday AM routes with opportunities to pick up additional routes as needed.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Safely transport students daily between their school locations (near Landrum or Woodruff) and a single pick‑up/drop‑off location in Greenville or Spartanburg.
• Drive a 22/20- or 15/14‑passenger bus, carrying a mix of students and support staff.
• Assist with transportation for planned field trips.
• Follow appropriate safety procedures and applicable laws.
• Perform pre- and post‑trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working order.
• Track and report required information on passengers, routes, and time.
• Report signs of maintenance needs and potential repairs.
• Communicate delays, route changes, or other important updates as they arise.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Experience driving a school bus (desired)
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Ability to pass a SLED background check
• Ability to pass a DOT Physical
