Job summary

Lassen Community College invites applications for a Part-Time Instructor in Commercial Driver's License. Under the Dean of Academic Services, you will provide instruction in the CDL program with possible day, evening, online or hybrid delivery, and may include face-to-face instruction in a prison environment.

All temporary part-time instructors are paid a flat rate of 70.51 USD per credit hour taught each semester.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with two years of professional experience.
• Or an associate degree with six years of professional experience.
• Teaching experience is required when a master’s degree is held.
• Background check and US work eligibility are required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct classes (times, dates, and modality) per contract and syllabus.
• Teach in-person, online, hybrid or other modalities as assigned.
• Develop CDL curriculum and related course materials.
• Maintain records and support program assessment and reviews.
