Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing seeks highly motivated applicants to fill the role of Hiker (Vehicle Transporter/Truck Driver). This on-call, part-time position focuses on vehicle delivery and returning trucks to Penske locations and customers.

Primary duties include moving box trucks up to 26 feet, with CDL Class A experience a plus for larger tractors and trailers. The role is located at the Penske facility in White Deer, PA, with a Monday-Thursday schedule from 7:00am to 3:00pm.

Qualifications

• 2 years of driving experience required.
• 2 years of a clean DMV motor vehicle record required.
• Valid Class B CDL required; US domicile and state license required.
• CDL Class A license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures while driving trucks to Penske locations or customer locations.
• Check vehicles for mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment; report issues to location manager.
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment when required.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
