Job summary

Collegiate School is seeking experienced Transportation Drivers for part-time positions in Henrico, VA. You will transport students, faculty and staff using school-owned vehicles, and perform required vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.

The role is part-time and non-benefited. Drivers start at $25 per hour and receive free lunch when working. CDL Class A or B with a passenger endorsement is required, and you must meet DOT safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old and have at least 3 years of passenger driving experience.
• Must hold a valid Virginia CDL Class A or B with a passenger endorsement.
• CDL restrictions may apply; see DMV rules for school activity buses.
• Strong reading, writing and communication skills.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Transport Collegiate students, faculty and staff using school-owned vehicles.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and ensure fleet safety.
• Ensure vehicles are cleaned, fueled and maintained.
• Adhere to DOT/OSHA rules and safety regulations.
• Work as needed during weekdays and weekends.
