Job summary

Butler County RTA in Hamilton, OH seeks a part-time Maintenance and Infrastructure Aide. The role involves shuttling Authority vehicles, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and keeping assets moving between our facility, vendors, body shops and inspection sites.

Hours are 4–5 per day, 3–5 days a week, mostly weekday daytime. CDL with passenger endorsement, DOT medical certification, and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with passenger endorsement and no air brake restriction.
• Current DOT medical certification or ability to obtain before start.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record with no disqualifying violations.
• At least 21 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and walk, stand, bend, and climb in/out of vehicles in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Shuttling Authority vehicles between maintenance facility, vendor shops, body shops and other locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Move and stage vehicles in the yard to support shop workflows.
• Fuel, wash, and prep vehicles for service.
