Responsibilities:

• Provide SMART customer service by executing Lowe's customer service policies, procedures, and programs
• Assist customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
• Respond promptly to customer and employee questions, guiding them through projects when needed
• Show sincere appreciation to customers
• Communicate information about stock, special orders, features, benefits, applications, and warranties related to Lowe’s programs
• Coordinate with truck drivers regarding deliveries and customer contact

Essential Functions:

• Plan delivery activities, print loading tickets, and ensure on-time delivery
• Pull merchandise, build and band loads, load trucks within payload limits
• Inspect products before loading and assist customers with loading
• Verify items on invoices against loaded quantities

Store Maintenance and Safety:

• Ensure loads are safe, secure, and compliant with DOT regulations
• Update delivery and route status in the system
• Unload, install, and test appliances upon delivery
• Maintain vehicle inspections, cleanliness, and repairs
• Complete DOT reporting to maintain certification and compliance
• Monitor for shoplifting and security risks, reporting promptly
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization
• Follow safety protocols and operate store equipment as required

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A CDL License (or B with air brake endorsement, depending on location)
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one
• Ability to pass MVR screening
• Legal ability to obtain necessary licensure and perform basic arithmetic
• Must be 21 years or older
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations

Preferences:

• 1 year of semi-truck/trailer driving experience or certification
• 6 months of in-home delivery or retail customer service experience
• 3 months operating a forklift or similar equipment
