Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Non CDL Transfer Driver to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a reliable and responsible individual who takes pride in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our high-quality auto parts to our valued customers. As a delivery driver, you'll be an integral part of our team, responsible for navigating your assigned delivery route with skill and precision, all while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate a 26ft box truck to transport auto parts to warehouse and shipping centers.
2. Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
3. Verify that the load is properly secured and balanced before transportation.
4. Assist in the loading and unloading of the truck.
5. Assist in loading and unloading 3PL truck.
6. Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
7. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor.
8. Communicate effectively with the dispatch team to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
9. Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.
10. Maintain a clean and organized truck.
11. Assist in sorting parts daily.
12. Perform other duties as assigned as business needs change.

Qualifications:

1. Must be or willing to be DOT Compliant.
2. Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.
3. Prior experience driving a 26ft box truck or similar commercial vehicle.
4. Able to reach, bend, lift, pull and push up to 50lbs.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow delivery schedules and routes.
6. Excellent verbal, written, and auditory communication skills and ability to work effectively with the dispatch team.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
8. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
9. Familiarity with auto parts and repair industry is a plus.
10. Ability to work from 3AM to 1PM when needed.
11. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
12. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
13. Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others.
14. Capacity to maintain composure and politeness under difficult circumstances.
15. Aptitude to be available and adjust working hours according to demands.

Shift & Hours: Monday – Friday

3AM Start time (daily schedule may vary between 8-10 hour days based on volume of work)

Compensation: Hourly rate $21-$23, based on experience
