Essential Functions:

1. Customer Service
2. Provides SMART customer service at all times through the daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures, and programs.
3. Seeks out customers to understand their needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
4. Responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions, guiding them through projects when necessary.
5. Demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers.
6. Communicates information regarding stock, special orders, feature benefits, applications, and warranty information related to Lowe’s programs.
7. Contacts customers regarding delivery or coordinates with truck drivers to call the customer.

In-stock

1. Plans delivery activities, prints loading tickets, and delivers merchandise according to schedule to ensure on-time delivery.
2. Pulls merchandise, builds and bands delivery loads, and loads trucks within payload limits.
3. Inspects product conditions before loading or assisting with loading.
4. Verifies invoice items with loaded quantities by matching descriptions, items, and model numbers.

Clean and Safe Stores

1. Ensures loads are safe, secure, and compliant with DOT regulations.
2. Updates delivery and route status on tracking systems.
3. Unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery.
4. Performs vehicle inspections, reports issues, and maintains vehicle cleanliness and repairs.
5. Completes DOT reporting to maintain certification and compliance.
6. Detects security risks like shoplifting and reports promptly.
7. Maintains cleanliness and organization of store and work areas.
8. Ensures a safe work environment through safety reviews and hazard mitigation.
9. Operates store equipment as needed.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A CDL License for multi-unit CMV locations or Class B CDL License with air brake endorsement for single-unit CMV locations.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass MVR screening.
• Ability to obtain necessary sales licenses or registrations.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Preferences:

• 1 year experience driving semi-trucks/trailers or certification from a driving school.
• 6 months experience in in-home delivery or retail customer service.
• 3 months experience operating a forklift or Moffett for loading/offloading.
