Essential Functions:

1. Customer Service

• Provide excellent customer service by following Lowe's policies and procedures.
• Assist customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Respond promptly and knowledgeably to customer and employee questions, guiding them through projects when needed.
• Show genuine appreciation to customers.
• Communicate information about stock, special orders, features, benefits, applications, and warranties related to Lowe’s programs.
• Coordinate with customers and delivery drivers regarding deliveries.

In-stock

• Plan delivery activities, print loading tickets, and deliver merchandise on schedule.
• Prepare merchandise, build and band loads, and load trucks according to delivery orders.
• Inspect products before loading or assisting customers with loading.
• Verify invoice items against loaded quantities.

Clean and Safe Stores

• Ensure loads are safe, secure, and compliant with DOT regulations.
• Update delivery and route statuses in the system.
• Unload, install, and test appliances upon delivery.
• Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and report issues.
• Complete DOT reporting for certification and compliance.
• Monitor for security risks and report suspicious activity.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Operate store equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A or B CDL License with appropriate endorsements, depending on location.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass MVR screening.
• Legal ability to obtain required licensure or registration.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Must be 21 years old.
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Preferences:

• 1 year experience driving semi-trucks or certification from a driving school.
• 6 months experience in in-home delivery or retail customer service.
• 3 months experience operating a forklift or Moffett.
