Essential Functions:

1. Customer Service

• Provide SMART customer service by following Lowe's policies, procedures, and programs.
• Assist customers by understanding their needs, locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Respond promptly and knowledgeably to questions from customers and employees, guiding them through projects when necessary.
• Show genuine appreciation to customers.
• Communicate information about stock, special orders, features, benefits, applications, and warranties related to Lowe’s programs.
• Coordinate delivery with customers and truck drivers.

1. In-stock

• Plan and execute delivery activities, including printing loading tickets and ensuring on-time delivery.
• Pull merchandise, build, and band delivery loads, and load trucks within payload limits.
• Inspect products before loading or assisting with loading.
• Verify invoice items against loaded quantities.

1. Clean and Safe Stores

• Ensure loads are safe, secure, and compliant with DOT regulations.
• Update delivery and route statuses for tracking.
• Unload, install, and test appliances upon delivery.
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness and repairs of delivery vehicles and equipment.
• Complete DOT reporting to maintain certification and compliance.
• Detect and report security risks such as shoplifting or theft.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Operate store equipment as needed, depending on the role.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A or B CDL License, depending on location and vehicle type.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass MVR screening.
• Legal ability to obtain required licensure or registration.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Compliance with DOT and CDL regulations.

Preferences:

• 1 year of experience driving semi-trucks/trailers or certification from a driving school.
• 6 months of experience in in-home delivery or retail customer service.
• 3 months of experience operating a forklift or Moffett onloading/offloading vehicles.
