Job summary

Carol Stream Park District is seeking a Bus Driver for its 39-passenger bus, primarily for senior day trips and occasional summer camp field trips. Candidates should have previous driving experience, a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement, and a clean driving record. The role requires flexible daytime availability with work primarily on weekdays and some weekends. The district will cover the cost for physical and drug testing and background checks are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Previous bus driving experience preferred.
• Must successfully pass a DOT pre-employment physical & drug/alcohol screening.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Minimum age 21.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Park District's 39-passenger bus primarily for senior day trips.
• Occasionally drive for summer camp field trips and special events.
• Be scheduled on a substitute basis only.
