Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and DOT compliance knowledge.
• Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Intermodal, port, drayage, or regional freight experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport intermodal shipping containers on local and regional routes.
• Pickup and deliver containers between ports, rail yards, warehouses, and customer facilities.
• Safely secure containers to intermodal chassis per DOT and company procedures.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report equipment issues promptly.
• Follow routes, dispatch instructions, and FMCSA Hours of Service requirements.
• Handle HazMat and refrigerated loads when qualified.
• Complete required documentation including BOLs, PODs, and order confirmations.
• Use ELDs and mobile dispatch systems as required.
• Maintain professional communication and represent City Haul professionally.
