Qualificações

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate required.
• At least 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Intermodal, port, drayage, or regional freight experience preferred.
• Experience with container chassis operations preferred.
• Familiarity with ELDs and mobile dispatch systems.
• Strong safety awareness and reliable communication.
• DOT Hours of Service compliance must be observed.

Responsabilidades

• Transport intermodal containers on local and regional routes.
• Pick up and deliver containers between ports, rail yards, warehouses, and facilities.
• Safely secure containers to intermodal chassis per DOT procedures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Follow assigned routes and FMCSA Hours of Service requirements.
• Handle HazMat, refrigerated containers, and specialized loads when qualified.
• Complete required documentation (BOLs, PODs, inspections, confirmations).
• Use ELDs and mobile dispatch systems as required.
• Maintain professional conduct while representing City Haul.
