Job summary

Holy Cross Regional Catholic School in Collegeville, PA is seeking a part-time Business Manager to oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and overall financial operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, financial administration, or business management required.
• Knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and account reconciliation.
• Familiarity with accounting software, payroll systems, and financial reporting platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office applications.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with school leadership, board members, vendors, and Archdiocesan personnel.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound financial judgment.
• Experience in a school, nonprofit, or Catholic educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and manage the annual school operating budget.
• Prepare regular financial reports, budget analyses, and projections for leadership and the Finance Committee.
• Monitor revenues, expenditures, cash flow, and budget variances.
• Maintain accurate financial records and oversee account reconciliation procedures.
• Support long-term financial planning and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Provide financial information to support fiscal oversight and strategic planning.
• Prepare financial reports for SPAT meetings and coordinate with Archdiocesan representatives.
