Job summary

Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital is seeking a skilled RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology unit on a part-time day schedule in Los Angeles. The role focuses on peri-procedural care, hemodynamic monitoring, and collaboration with Cardiology, Radiology, Peri-Op teams.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year in Telemetry/ICU settings with 6 months Cath Lab experience, California RN license, BCLS/ACLS, and sedation training within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• BSN or related bachelor’s degree required; ASN or nursing diploma with Cath Lab/IR experience considered.
• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry or Critical Care nursing experience; minimum 6 months Cath Lab experience.
• Current California RN license; BCLS and ACLS required; CCRN preferred; Adult moderate sedation class within 30 days of hire and renewed every 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology setting.
• Perform peri-procedural nursing duties including monitoring, assessment, and documentation.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary communication and participate in quality/performance improvement.
• Assist with procedures and maintain hemodynamic monitoring and patient safety.
