Job summary

Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology Nurse.

This RN will provide expert patient care across Cardiology and Interventional Radiology procedures, including perioperative and conscious sedation support under the Watson Model of Care. Qualified candidates will have BSN or higher, California RN license, BCLS/ACLS, and Cath Lab experience.

Qualifications

• BSN in nursing required; ASN/Diploma with Cath Lab/IR experience considered.
• California RN license required.
• BCLS and ACLS certification required.
• CRRN/CCRN preferred.
• Adult moderate sedation training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient/family-centered care in Cardiac Cath Lab and IR nursing.
• Coordinate care with Cardiology, Radiology, and perioperative teams.
• Monitor hemodynamics and respond to changes during procedures.
• Assist with intubation and ventilated patients during procedures.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in the unit.

Skills

Telemetry/ICU/CCU experience

Cath Lab experience

Bilingual Spanish (preferred)

Education

BSN in Nursing

California RN Licensure

BCLS + ACLS certification

CRRN/CCRN preferred

Adult moderate sedation training (within 30 days)
