CLA, a national professional services firm, seeks a Senior Learning Technologist to lead administration, optimization, and analytics for learning technologies, with emphasis on LMS integrations and AI-enabled capabilities.

You will partner with learning leaders, educators, and operations to ensure reliable, scalable platforms, data-driven insights, and seamless user experiences across CLA. Travel is less than 10%.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience supporting learning technologies, learning operations, or related digital enablement roles.
  • Bachelor's degree required; equivalent experience, education, or training may be considered.
  • Strong experience administering learning platforms and supporting enterprise-scale learning environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build dashboards, analyze data, and communicate insights to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, knowledge graph) preferred.
  • Tech-forward mindset with curiosity for emerging tools, including AI-enabled learning solutions.
  • Strong project management, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively across teams and functions.
  • Strong analytical judgment and ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a strong focus on user experience and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

CLA is currently seeking a Senior Learning Technologist. This role leads the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of learning technologies across the firm, with a strong focus on the Learning Management System (LMS), learning platform integrations, analytics, and emerging digital capabilities. The Senior Learning Technologist partners closely with learning leaders, educators, and operations teams to ensure learning platforms are reliable, scalable, data-driven, and aligned to CLA's learning strategy.

This role is available on a casual and on call basis as business demands.

How you'll create opportunities in this Senior Learning Technologist role:

Learning Technology Administration & Automation
  • Lead the administration, configuration, and ongoing optimization of learning technology integrations (e.g., HRIS to LMS) to ensure seamless data flow and user experience across platforms.
  • Stay current on learning technology trends and lead evaluation, selection, and implementation of new platforms and capabilities.
  • Oversee license management across the learning technology ecosystem to ensure compliance and cost-effective utilization.
  • Guide troubleshooting and resolution of user issues while maintaining system reliability and data integrity.
  • Advise learning designers, educators, and facilitators on effective use of digital tools and support technology integration into learning programs.

Analytics & Reporting
  • Design, maintain, and enhance enterprise dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to measure learning operations, engagement, and impact.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define key performance indicators and establish consistent data capture practices.
  • Translate learning and business data into clear, actionable insights to support decision-making and progress tracking.
Knowledge Management & AI Enablement
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve content discovery, personalization, and learner support.
  • Support knowledge-sharing initiatives that convert institutional expertise into scalable, reusable learning assets.
  • Support efforts to structure, tag, and organize learning content using consistent taxonomy and governance standards.
Process & Workflow Optimization
  • Champion modernization of learning operations through automation, documentation, and standardized processes.
  • Ensure compliance with learning standards, data governance requirements, and operational best practices.

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.

The compensation range for this position in Virginia is: $37.00 - $55.60
