Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a part-time cashier to deliver a fast, friendly checkout experience and help customers with purchases and exchanges. You will handle scanning, bagging, and payments while assisting in other store tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic proficiency.
• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
• Experience using a computer for daily tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs with assistance or 75+ lbs with help.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and accurate checkout experience.
• Assist customers at self-checkout and answer questions.
• Scan, bag items and manage payments and exchanges.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and assist in other departments as needed.
• Support customers with questions and resolve issues quickly.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
