Job summary

ALDI Lumberton, NJ is hiring enthusiastic part-time cashiers and stockers to provide friendly checkout service and maintain stocked, organized shelves. The role supports safe, efficient store operations and a great customer experience.

Stockers must be able to arrive as early as 5:00am. Starting wage is $19.50 per hour with yearly increases to $21.50 by Year 5; typical hours are fewer than 30 per week. Benefits are available for all employees in many states.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate POS system and cash handling policies.
• Basic arithmetic skills for checkout and transactions.
• Ability to follow store policies and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Cashier duties: scan purchases, handle cash and POS issues, manage curbside orders.
• Stocker duties: stock shelves, follow merchandising plans, maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Assist store management to achieve operational efficiency and loss prevention goals.
