Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking enthusiastic part-time cashiers and stockers in New Jersey. You will provide friendly checkout service or help keep shelves stocked to ensure a great shopping experience.

Roles include duties across customer service, operations and safety, with starting wage of $19.50 per hour and wage increases over time. Positions require ability to work early hours, lift up to 45 pounds, and operate store equipment.

Qualifications

• Must provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks and other devices.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Assists store management in achieving operational efficiency goals.
• Assists store management in achieving total loss goals.
• Complies with all established company policies and processes.
• Supports store management in providing a safe working environment by identifying and rectifying hazards.
