Job summary

ALDI in Wayne, NJ is seeking friendly part-time cashiers and stockers to support guest experiences. You will handle checkout duties, operate the POS, stock shelves, and maintain clean and organized store areas.

The roles offer hours under 30 per week and a starting wage of $20.00 per hour with annual wage increases through Year 5. Candidates should be able to work early shifts, lift up to 45 pounds, and follow all company policies while providing excellent service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers and POS systems.
• Ability to interpret store policies and procedures.
• Strong communication, arithmetic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and with others, and maintain reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Cashier duties: operate POS, process purchases, and follow cash policies.
• Stocker duties: stock shelves, follow merchandising plans and upkeep zones.
• Assist management in achieving operational efficiency and loss prevention goals.
• Perform cleaning and safe-work with proper ergonomics and equipment upkeep.
• Support curbside pickup processes and timely item retrieval.
