Job summary

ALDI store in St. Louis, MO is seeking enthusiastic part-time cashiers and stockers. You will provide friendly checkout service as a cashier and assist with stocking shelves to maintain a great shopping experience.

Starting wage is $18.50 per hour with scheduled increases over five years. Position requires availability for early hours and the ability to work fewer than 30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and with others.

Responsibilities

• Properly utilize the POS system to scan and process customer purchases.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures.
• Open additional check lanes to ensure efficient checkout.
• Complete curbside pickup orders and ensure timely delivery to customers' vehicles.
