Job summary

ALDI is seeking enthusiastic part-time cashiers and stockers to join our Magnolia, TX store. As a cashier, you’ll provide friendly, efficient checkout service, while as a stocker, you’ll help keep shelves stocked and organized to ensure a great shopping experience.

Starting wage is $18.50 per hour with wage increases in Year 2–Year 5. You may be required to arrive as early as 5:00am for stock shifts and must follow store policies. This role emphasizes customer service, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate POS system and cash registers.
• Follow ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively in writing and speech.
• Perform basic arithmetic and handle payments accurately.
• Follow instructions and maintain attentiveness to detail.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Assists store management in achieving operational efficiency goals.
• Assists store management in achieving total loss goals.
• Complies with all established company policies and processes.
• Supports store management in providing a safe working environment by identifying and rectifying hazards, ensuring proper ergonomics, and maintaining equipment in proper working order.
• Maintains store zones standards and merchandising standards at all times.
• Adheres to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Properly utilizes the POS system to accurately scan and process customer purchases and inform management of scanning concerns.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Follows the line policy and opens additional check lanes as required for efficiency.
• Completes curbside pickup orders by retrieving items and ensuring timely delivery.
