Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking enthusiastic part-time cashiers and stockers to join our stores. As a cashier, you’ll provide friendly, efficient checkout service and ensure a smooth customer experience; as a stocker, you’ll help keep shelves stocked and organized.

Starting at $20.00 per hour with scheduled increases year over year, this role offers flexible hours (less than 30 per week) and a path to broader store operations experience within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks, handheld devices, and computers.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and follow instructions with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient checkout service and assist with customer questions.
• Assist management in achieving operational efficiency goals.
• Assist with loss prevention goals and maintain store standards.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures.
• Support safe working environment by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment.
• Maintain merchandising and inventory procedures and perform cleaning tasks.
