Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking enthusiastic part-time cashiers and stockers to provide friendly, efficient checkout service and keep shelves stocked and organized for a great shopping experience.

Positions are part-time with average hours fewer than 30 per week. Starting wage is $17.50 per hour with wage increases in Year 2–Year 5 to $18.00, $18.50, and $19.50 accordingly. Benefits are offered to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate point-of-sale systems and process purchases accurately.
• Follow store policies and procedures.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in the work area.
• Assist with inventory and merchandising tasks.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Customer service at checkout and with curbside pickup.
• Operate POS system, scan items, handle payments and receipts.
• Open additional check lanes when needed for efficiency.
• Stock shelves and maintain merchandising standards.
• Identify hazards and help maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist store management in achieving operational goals.
• Follow inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance as required.
