Job summary

ALDI is seeking enthusiastic part-time cashiers and stockers to deliver a friendly, efficient checkout experience and keep shelves stocked and organized for a superior shopping experience.

Positions require availability under 30 hours per week, with a starting wage of $19.50 per hour and planned increases in years 2–5. Roles involve cash handling, stocking, cleaning, safety, and adherence to store policies.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and with others.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes.
• Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance.
• Ability to meet availability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient checkout service as a cashier.
• Help keep shelves stocked and organized as a stocker.
• Maintain store zones and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assist management in achieving operational efficiency and total loss goals.
• Comply with all company policies and processes.
• Support a safe working environment by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment.
• Follows inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Process curbside pickup orders accurately and on time.
• Stock shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms.
