New School Mediterranean is hiring a part-time Cashier in Pleasanton, CA. You will be the primary contact for customers, process transactions accurately, handle payments, and contribute to a welcoming store atmosphere.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varied shifts is essential to meet business needs. Responsibilities include operating POS systems, bagging purchases, offering friendly service, and supporting basic janitorial and inventory tasks as needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cashiering or retail customer service preferred.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Strong communication and customer-focused attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Operate cash registers and POS systems to process purchases accurately.
• Handle cash, credit, and other payments with proper change and records.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Bag items and maintain cashier area with attention to speed.
• Perform light janitorial duties and assist with inventory as needed.
• Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
