Job summary

Smalls Sliders in Denham Springs, LA is seeking a part-time Cashier to join our team. You will operate the cash register and POS, handle cash and cards, and provide friendly service to customers. Qualifications

• Previous cashiering or retail customer service experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with POS systems is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers and POS to process purchases accurately.
• Handle cash, credit, and other payments following proper procedures.
• Provide courteous customer service and promptly resolve inquiries.
• Maintain a clean checkout area and perform light janitorial duties.
• Assist with stocking and inventory as needed.
• Answer phones professionally and direct calls appropriately.
• Work on the kitchen line as required.
• Maintain a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
