Habit Burger & Grill in California is hiring a friendly Cashier for part-time shifts. You will take orders, handle payments, and provide genuine hospitality to guests in a fast-paced setting.

You’ll learn the POS system, assist in opening/closing tasks, keep the dining area clean, and support the BOH team as needed. Previous cash handling and customer-service experience is preferred; flexible scheduling is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in related food service cashier position preferred.
• Food Handler’s Card/Certification may be required according to local and/or state regulations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner.
• Take orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Process credit card and cash payments and tender change accurately.
• Relay customer orders to the kitchen and ensure correct preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and stocking levels in dining areas; assist in portioning.
