Job summary

Westlake Ace Hardware is hiring a Cashier to handle register transactions, greet customers, and assist shoppers throughout the store.

You will balance the drawer, follow store procedures, keep front end clean, stock impulse items, and help with pricing and packing. Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and prior cashier or customer service experience; standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the store and throughout the store.
• Process register transactions accurately and balance drawer.
• Assist in pricing, stocking, marking and bagging merchandise.
• Maintain clean front end and display impulse items.
• Communicate issues to management and support store operations.
