Goodwill Omaha is seeking a part-time Cashier at the Madison Store in Council Bluffs, IA. This role focuses on efficient sales transactions and delivering excellent customer service.

The position requires flexibility to work retail hours, cash handling, and basic math for making change. Responsibilities include assisting customers, operating the POS system, stocking shelves, and maintaining store appearance.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service for Goodwill customers.
• Assist customers with purchases and if authorized with pricing.
• Operate a computer-based point of sale system and handle cash while balancing drawer.
• Use basic math to ensure correct change.
• Stock product on shelves and keep the floor stocked during hours of operation.
• Attend to dressing rooms and return merchandise to sales floor.
• Meet attendance expectations and maintain a safe work environment.
