Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of on-the-job training; levels 1 and 2 completed.
• Excellent customer service and strong verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills to make change and refunds.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the location.
• Operate the cash register accurately using UPC scanner and product keys.
• Accept cash, checks, and cards for purchases.
• Assist customers with locating products and pricing questions.
• Keep work areas tidy and balanced with transactions at start/end of shift.
• Process returns and exchanges per store policy.
• Resolve customer complaints or escalate to management when needed.
• Assist with stocking and housekeeping on the floor.
• Attend store meetings and training sessions.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
