Job summary

Cub Chanhassen is seeking a dedicated part-time cashier to handle front-end checkout procedures, engage customers with prompt and courteous service, and process orders efficiently. The role involves diverse responsibilities from scanning products to handling tender and coupons with accuracy.

You will contribute to a positive shopping experience, manage returns and exchanges, and support front-end maintenance.

Qualifications

Operate checkout equipment including scanner and register.
Stand for long periods and perform duties with accuracy.
Basic reading, writing and math skills.
Provide prompt, courteous service during customer interactions.
Exercise good judgment when supervision is not immediately available.
Follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information as required.
Be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Must be 16 years of age and older.

Responsibilities

Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates
Perform product scanning and processing of customer order in an accurate, efficient and prompt manner
Ensure properly handling of all forms of tender and coupons
Ensure accurate handling of all voids, returns, refunds and exchanges
Assist with customer questions or requests
Assist with front end maintenance and cleaning
